School & Village Health Camps

PRASAD Chikitsa’s School and Village Health Camps bring preventive healthcare directly to communities across the Tansa Valley. Designed to overcome barriers to healthcare access, these outreach programs provide health screenings, education, and referrals in schools and villages, ensuring that health concerns are identified and addressed at an early stage.

Many families in the Tansa Valley have limited access to regular health check-ups and preventive care. As a result, common health conditions such as malnutrition, vision problems, dental issues, anemia, diabetes, and hypertension often go undetected until they become more serious. Children are particularly vulnerable, as untreated health concerns can affect their growth, development, and academic performance.

How We Are Solving It

  • School Health Camps

    • Health screenings for students

    • Vision, dental, nutritional, and general health assessments

    • Education on hygiene, nutrition, adolescent health, and disease prevention

    • Referrals for specialized care and follow-up treatment

  • Village Health Camps

    • Community screenings for common illnesses and chronic diseases

    • Early detection of diabetes, hypertension, anemia, and other health conditions

    • Health awareness sessions on sanitation, nutrition, maternal health, and preventive care

    • Referrals and linkages to PRASAD Chikitsa's healthcare programs and specialist services
