In the Tansa Valley, reproductive health issues—including adolescent hormonal changes, sexual health concerns, infertility, and lack of access to contraception or screening services—have long gone unaddressed due to stigma, limited awareness, and inadequate healthcare infrastructure. Many individuals also face significant challenges in accessing safe and legal abortion services or early cancer screenings.
How We Are Solving It
-

Adolescent counseling
Counseling on puberty, menstrual health, reproductive health, and emotional well-being
Age-appropriate health education to support informed decision-making and healthy lifestyle choices
-
Reproductive Health Services
Diagnosis and treatment of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Reproductive Tract Infections (RTIs)
Infertility screening, diagnosis, and treatment
Referrals for safe abortion (MTP) services through partner clinics
Cervical cancer screening through Pap smears and breast health examinations
Family planning services, including contraception and permanent sterilization (Tubal Ligation)
Impact
The SRH Program plays a key role in breaking taboos, educating communities, and providing access to essential healthcare—especially for women and adolescents. It promotes early diagnosis, safe reproductive choices, and healthier families. The program's inclusive, respectful approach encourages more individuals to seek help without fear or stigma.
