I had an incredible opportunity to dedicate 8 months to volunteer in The PRASAD Project, a non-profit committed to improving the quality of life of economically disadvantaged people around the world and ultimately helping people to achieve permanent self-sufficiency. The program that I hold dearest to my heart is the Nutrition Program. This program supplies protein-enriched milk to pregnant women, babies and children to help them receive a healthy start in life. For many children, the milk served as part of this project is the main source of their daily nutrition, and an incentive to attend school. I am immensely grateful to The PRASAD Project for all they have done and all that they continue to do to uplift lives around the world.
